SiliThix Silicone Thixotropic Thickening Agent
SiliThix is our liquid silicone thixotropic agent, when added to our liquid silicones it turns them from a flowing liquid into a thixotropic (non-flowing) elastomer. In other words, when added to silicones this product changes the viscosity and results in a non-flowing, cake icing-like product that can be applied to vertical surfaces with ease.
Compatible with our following silicones:
Soft-0A & Soft-15A
Fast-20A & Fast Purple 20A
TC20 Condensation Cure
Medium 30A
Med-Firm 45A
(Not compatible with our UltraSoft 00-05 & UltraSoft 00-10)
May be compatible with other silicones, we recommend testing before use in these cases.
We recommend using between 0.5%-3% by weight for all platinum cure silicones, condensation cure silicone may require a little more to be added (up to 5%).
